The CenturyLink C844G GigaCenter is an integrated access and gateway solution designed to deliver advanced network management and software features, enabling a high-speed internet experience throughout your home. Connecting the GigaCenter

The CenturyLink C844G GigaCenter features a "Smart Activate" function for easy setup. A CenturyLink field technician can install and apply your service profile using a phone or laptop, without requiring special equipment or central office assistance.

If self-activating, follow the instructions provided by CenturyLink or access the modem's GUI via a connected device:

1. Connect a computer or mobile device to the GigaCenter via Wi-Fi (using the SSID and password on the device label) or an Ethernet cable.

The GigaCenter supports simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz). The default Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs) and passwords (Key/Passphrase) are printed on a label on the device (refer to Figure 2).

1. On your wireless device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), open your Wi-Fi settings.
2. Select the desired network name (SSID), e.g., "CenturyLink0041" for 2.4GHz or "CenturyLink0041-5G" for 5GHz.
3. Enter the Key/Passphrase when prompted.
