4. Настройка и подключение

Follow these steps to connect your STARTRC Bluetooth Remote Control to your GoPro camera:

1. **Turn on the camera:** Power on your GoPro action camera.
2. **Turn on the remote control:** Press the On/Off button on the remote control to power it on.
3. **Navigate to the connection interface on the camera:** On your GoPro, go to the connection settings and enable wireless connection or Bluetooth pairing mode.
4. **Automatic Connection:** The remote control will automatically detect and connect to your GoPro camera. Once connected, the remote's screen will display camera shooting information.

• **FM Button:**
  • **Long press:** Connects the camera.
• **On/Off Button:**
  • **Short press:** Switches function/shooting mode.
  • **Long press:** Turns the remote control off.
• **Shooting Buttons (Red Button):**
  • **Short press:** Starts/stops recording or takes a photo.
  • **When connected and camera is in hibernation:** Short press will wake up the camera.
  • **Long press:** Puts the camera into sleep mode.

**Note:** When the remote control is connected to the camera, use the On/Off button on the remote to control the camera's shooting mode (e.g., video, photo, time-lapse).

1. **Number of photos or hours of video:** Indicates the remaining capacity on the camera's SD card.
2. **Remaining power of the remote control:** Shows the battery level of the remote.
3. **Remaining power of the camera:** Shows the battery level of the connected GoPro camera.
4. **Interface information:**
   • When not connected successfully, "DISCONNECTED" is displayed.
   • When connected successfully, camera shooting information (e.g., current mode, resolution) is displayed.

**Display Note:** If there is no key action within 3 minutes, the display will turn off to save power. When the camera is not connected and not in charging status, the remote control will turn off automatically if there is no key action within 10 minutes after the display turns off. Press any key to light up the screen again, and the remote control will work normally when the display is off.

7. Mounting the Remote Control

• **GPS Functionality:** This remote control includes GPS & Satellite Positioning capabilities. When connected to a compatible GoPro camera (e.g., GoPro 12), it can add precise movement data to your recorded footage, enhancing your action videos with location information.
• **Power Saving:** To conserve battery, the remote's display will turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity. If the camera is not connected and not charging, the remote will power off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to reactivate the screen.
• **Optimal Range:** For best performance, maintain the remote within 25 meters of your GoPro camera. Environmental factors may affect range.
